文章摘要:

Hello everyone,
I'm excited and relieved today because I've finally got the chance to share my learning journey with you. This is a very long exercise, but it's worth every minute! The idea behind this exercise was quite simple: "How to use it in English?"
So, what exactly did we cover? Well, let me break it down into three main parts:
1) **Grammar and Syntax**: In the first part of the exercise, I focused on improving our understanding of basic English grammar rules and their applications. We explored topics like nouns, verbs, adjectives, and how they're used in various contexts.
2) **Linguistic Adaptations**: The second part delved into some common usage variations, such as contractions, idioms, and colloquial expressions. These are the words and phrases that we use differently in different parts of a sentence or in casual speech. Examples include "I'm" instead of "me," "y'all" (you all), and "y'all" with "ye." We also learned about some humorous language elements like "it's not me, it's you."
3) **Culture and Context**: The third part covered cultural background and context, focusing on idioms from different cultures. It was particularly interesting to hear how Japanese culture makes us think of the idea of "kawaii," which is a phrase meaning cute or adorable.
In each section, we had some assignments that allowed us to practice our newfound knowledge in various ways:
- I graded some homework problems with proper grammar corrections.
- We worked on writing short stories using idioms from different cultures.
- We discussed common expressions and how they can be used in both English and Japanese.
Now, don't get me wrong; learning new words is important, but what truly makes this exercise unique is the depth of our discussions about language usage. Each part taught us a lot about the nuances of English communication, which will help us make better use of it in real-life situations.
I am so grateful for this opportunity to teach others how to use English effectively. Please let me know if you'd like to discuss any aspects of these exercises or if there are specific questions I should be aware of when using them with others.
Thank you, and congratulations on all your academic successes!
Best regards,
